Een koelmachine bestaat voornamelijk uit een compressor, condensor, expansieapparaat en verdamper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Compressor<\/strong> is het belangrijkste onderdeel van een koeleenheid, freongas wordt gebruikt als koelmiddel. De compressor pompt het freongas door het circuit en comprimeert het freongas tot hoge druk en hoge temperatuur. Koelmiddelconditie bij de uitlaat van de compressor: hoge druk en hoge temperatuur<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Condensator<\/strong> verlaagt de temperatuur van het koelmiddel (freongas) van hoge temperatuur naar lage temperatuur met een gewenste druk. De condensor kan luchtgekoeld of watergekoeld zijn. Koudemiddeltoestand bij de uitlaat van de condensor: hoge druk en lage temperatuur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Uitbreidingsapparaat<\/strong> wordt ook wel smoorklep genoemd. Deze verlaagt de druk van het koelmiddel (freongas) van hoge druk naar lage druk door een nauwe ruimte te doorlopen, waardoor de temperatuur van het koelmiddel (freongas) nog verder daalt. De normaal gebruikte smoorklep bestaat uit capillaire buisjes die op de afbeelding te zien zijn. Koudemiddeltoestand aan de uitgang van de smoorklep: lage druk &amp; log temperatuur <strong>Verdamper<\/strong> is een plaats waar de werkelijke warmte-uitwisseling plaatsvindt. Koelmiddel van smoorklep bereikt verdamper en koelt het water.
